A brand-new bracket for the Fall Classic

Why let college basketball have all the fun? The GIST is back with our second-annual Pro Baseball Playoffs bracket challenge — so you can have some skin in the game. How could you not be romantic about baseball?

How to play

It's not just a trophy on the line — here's how you can enter for a chance to win The GIST's Pro Baseball Playoffs Bracket Challenge.

  • If this is your first time filling out a bracket with The GIST, create an account. If you've filled one out for previous tournaments, sign in.
  • Navigate to the "Make your picks" page and pick your winners for each round of the playoffs by clicking on the team you think will advance. You can enter up to three brackets — but make sure you fill them out completely.
  • Points are awarded for every winner you pick correctly. The value increases per round (Wild Card round is worth 2 Points each, Divisional Series are worth 4 Points each, League Championship Series are worth 6 Points each, and the World Series is worth 8 Points).
  • Any GISTer who predicts the combined final score of the championship-winning game (Team 1's total points + Team 2's total points) will receive an additional 5 points.

What to win

The top three brackets will win a gift card for the next big event on their cal.*
