⚙️ How it works: The Solheim Cup is a three-day match-play competition, where teams earn one point for a win and half a point for a tie. The first two days are foursome (alternate shot, using one shared ball between two teammates) and four-ball (aka best ball) matches. The final day is the spiciest, featuring one-on-one singles matches.

• Each team rosters 12 players, with team captains, Europe’s Anna Nordqvist and the US’s Angela Stanford, deciding the competition order. The team with the most points is named the winner, and if it ends in a tie, the reigning champ Americans will retain the cup.
