No tricks here: For the first time this season, no undefeated teams lost on Saturday, with the unbeaten six maintaining their perfect records through Week 9. All are hoping for a treat from the CFP selection committee, who drop their first rankings tomorrow.

With playoffs hitting the men’s soccer pitch in a matter of days and the women’s volleyball court in a month, the NCAA selection committees have been busy compiling their final rankings before official picks separate the “so fetch” squads from those in the Burn Book.

No. 14 Syracuse Orange (6-0) vs. No. 5 Clemson Tigers (7-0), No. 9 UCLA Bruins (6-0) vs. No. 10 Oregon Ducks (5-1), No. 24 Mississippi State Bulldogs (5-2) vs. No. 6 Alabama Crimson Tide (6-1) and No. 17 Kansas State Wildcats (5-1) vs. No. 8 TCU Horned Frogs (6-0).

While it’s not the first lawsuit from a former collegiate athlete who suffered head trauma, it’s the first that hasn’t been settled or dismissed.
