The GIST: After earning each color of medal on day one, Team Canada’s momentum is only building at the Beijing Paralympics.

Medal moments: Weather report from day two? It’s snowing medals. Alana Ramsay and Alexis Guimond reached the podium in women’s and men’s super-G standing, while Collin Cameron notched Canada’s first-ever (!!!) medal in men’s cross-country long distance sitting.

  • Also of note, Ukraine registered the first podium sweep of these Games, collecting all the hardware in the men’s vision impaired biathlon event. What a moment.

What to watch: The red and white will look to increase their medal total during the 9 p.m. ET biathlon finals for women’s and men’s sitting and standing middle distance, tonight on CBC.
