🏀 SGA, Thunder defend home court to take 2-0 series lead: Behind a game-high 36-point effort from the newly crowned MVP, OKC dominated the Minnesota Timberwolves 118–103 last night, moving just two Ws away from their first NBA Finals appearance since 2012. Anthony Edwards and the T-Wolves will need all the home-cooking they can get with Game 3 in Minny tomorrow at 8:30 p.m. ET.

  • And then there was the choke seen ’round the world. Despite leading by 17 points in the fourth quarter, the NY Knicks dropped Wednesday’s Eastern Conference Finals Game 1 138–135 in OT to the Indiana Pacers following a clutch regulation buzzer-beater from Reggie Miller Tyrese Haliburton.

Ready the rats — star goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky and the Cats are heading back to Sunrise with a chance to secure a commanding 3-0 lead in Game 3 tomorrow at 8 p.m. ET.

  • Meanwhile, the Dallas Stars scored five third-period goals on Wednesday to complete the comeback and defeat the Edmonton Oilers 6–3 in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals.
